The Dance

I have dressed up every year for Tru Stories family Relay For Life dance. My original idea was to find a dress that would pass for an adult flower girl dress. I thought I would go as the world's oldest flower girl. Just could not find the right dress.
Then I came up with a good idea. Talked to Hubby, talked to some family. Idea got better. Now we have a "secret" group idea. What does this mean for us? We think we're cool. I hope we don't take the shine away from Munchkin's star. Munchkin have you ever wondered how your Aunt & Uncle (aka: Grandpa & Grandma) look in spandex. Don't worry they are not wearing white. That would be silly.
We are still having trouble finding heels to fit the Hubby. Have not been able to convince him to shave his legs yet. One time we think a way to profile his long hair and we just can't get the outfit to come together. No worry we still have time.
Tru Stories and family, you just have a good time planning your event. Don't worry about what type of scene we old people are going to cause. It is all in fun. We just want to help kick cancer's butt.
Things to do: find a Corsette for Uncle Jim, garters for the Old Lady, Madonna Cones for me. This wedding thing is a great idea.
Could you pencil us in the schedule for a 10 minute line dance somewhere in the middle of the evening. We will need a microphone for our song. This is going to be great.
This is going to be a night people will not soon forget. Hope to see you all there.

don't worry about taking away from my costume Grammy, as I stated last year after the dance, I'm taking a year off from dressing up

Munchkin: You are still dressing up... you are maybe not trying SO HARD for a prize.

Grammy: Yuck, on a few points. These children do not need any grandparents, in spandex or heels.
But we are anxious to see what the big secret is. I know Grandpa was happy to be invited into a big group secret. You six are wild and crazy kids.
