I Have Not Bought A Book For Eight Days

I made a pledge to see how long I can go without buying a book.  I am on Day 7.  That would mean more if I had not gone out and spent almost $400 on a Wii and accessories.  It really was a great purchase.  One thing I did not imagine was that my son would become obsessed with Wii.  Hours of bowling.  He has achieved professional level.  He is wearing a spot in the carpet.  I'm fine with that.  I want wood floors!
I finally got to do the Wii Fit tonight.  This is amazing.  I love it already.  Though I swear it groaned when I got on the board.  I am proud to say I made it 30 minutes.  Now I am no Mrs.  I am not running a anything K anytime soon.  I am still pleased with 30 minutes.  First I had to go through all the balance tests and bmi and you are fat parts.  I had to pick how much weight to lose.  Then I started going through routines.  First I started with balance work-outs.  Let me say, LOVE it.  Really interesting fun things.  Who needs Yoga?  Oops, sorry Tru Stories.  No, I miss Yoga.  I hope to be able to move enough to do yoga again someday.  I really enjoyed when I could do it on a regular basis.
I think I am going to be sore tomorrow from the hula hoop.  Quite a few of the balance exercises are geared towards moving hips.  I imagine tomorrow moving hips will be difficult.  What I am most proud of is, step aerobics.  Now do not get proud.  I did the slowest I could find.  But....I made it 10 minutes.  I almost stopped.  Then the person I used to be.  The person I want to find again, remembered I am competitive.  All of a sudden I realized I was half-way through.  After that it was pure determination.
I managed a 30 minute, not ready to call it a work-out, but 30 minutes of Wii Fit.  I am pleased with that start.
I am anxious to get Tink and The Kid over to try this.  The balance games will be hilarious with them.  I am going to say that parents should have this for their children.  The balance games are great.  I think it would be a great winter work-out.
Now how do I balance, work, exercise, and reading?  And helping to organize a large Spring Event in my little village.  Mark May 7th off on your calendar.  Bring your families and have a great day in our village.  There are going to be great activities for children.  Bands for adults.  BBQ contest.  Food.  DRINK!  All of this in a fenced area so your children cannot run away. It is going to be great.  If not great, really good for our first year.
Now I am tired.  Hope I can walk tomorrow!
