Tomorrow night is the yearly dance put on my Tru Stories and her in-laws. Normally, this event benefits Relay For Life. This year the money raised is being donated to a good friend and a wonderful person that is waiting for a kidney transplant. The theme is, Rock of Ages. Do not have a great costume. I had a wonderful idea that Hubby refused to go along with. Bummer!
This dance is extra special for me this year. My good friend, soul sister from another generation, Millhouse is going to the dance. She is also known as Arizona. She flew in for a long week-end visit. She would have come for a visit to our lovely state anyway. She needed to show off her second born, beautiful boy. She timed the visit so she could attend the dance. Millhouse has been a fan of Tru Stories since Day 1. She knows the dances are HUGE social events.
As if the dance is not enough excitement. Millhouse is also looking forward to meeting the people she has been reading about in the blogs for years. She told me she was nervous about meeting everyone. I said, why. She said well I was at Warhol & Sweetbread's engagement but what if they act like they don't know me. Right. I get it. I told Millhouse she should bring her BFF. She asked her BFF if she wanted to attend the dance. BFF is super excited. She, too, has always wanted to attend the dance and meet the people she has read about for years.
BFF asked if Munchkin is still dating Match.com Guy. She sure is. I hear Munchkin got to buy a dance ticket for TWO. Congratulations Munchkin.
This is your warning Cast of Blog Characters: If two crazed women just stand and stare at you giggling, it is probably Millhouse and her BFF. The Mrs. they follow your blog too.
Bad news for The General. Old Lady does not think she will be able to make it. She is coming off a long vacation at Disney and brought a cold home. In addition, weather is predicted to turn bad. Looks like no stalker for The General. Umm, Mrs. she will miss seeing you too.

Ha! Match guy had no idea what he's in for. I tried to warn him about the whole evening, but there's really no preparing a rookie who's is attending with a seasoned veteran (who likes spandex)

I was excited about the dance. When you bring long time blog followers it amps up the excitement level at least 10 notches. I mean, what better event to bring along some groupies than to a rock and roll themed event, am I right? Old Lady, The General will be devastated when I tell him his #1 fan isn't going to make it. Feel better soon!
To the newbies who will be attending: Please do not judge my personality on my appearance and/or demeanor tonight. I don't get out much and sometimes I don't always represent myself very well on special occasions like this one. Just a fair warning - can't wait to meet you!
