I have managed to accumulate some "stuff" in 12 years at my job. There were many, many papers. Weird, I thought we were paperless. Not me, I like to be able to touch my papers. I started recycling papers immediately. Down to what I should have had in the first place!!
The other things I have accumulated is junk. Personal, work items. Skinny waited about 10 seconds after the announcement I was leaving to start asking for things. Easy Rider showed more class. She was quietly looking things over. Last week the two of them were ready to start putting notes on the items they wanted. Yes, like I am their 80 year old Grandmother. Kids!
I decided to proactively start getting rid of things. This is what is left after my desk was rushed and the vultures started picking through all the good stuff. Easy Rider and Skinny were ready to come to blows.
I am down to 20ish days of work at the farm. The kids are getting weepy. I had to say my first goodbye yesterday. The goodbye part is not going to be easy!
Today I am off work getting ready for the BBQ Contest/Springfest. Sunshine, you were requested a long time ago. Where are you? Do not let our festival down. We count on you to make an appearance every year. So far you have not disappointed. I hope to see you early tomorrow morning.
Going to be an exhausting week-end. So much to get done!! If you live in our little community, hope you make the trip out to our festival. Everyone have a great week-end.
