Last night I finished the most HILARIOUS book I have ever read. At least in a long, long time. I'm a big fan of David Sedaris and he is super funny. This book had tears running down my face. It is by a blogger, Jenny Lawson. I could easily call this a 5 rating. But......just like the Oscars it is hard to give the top rating to a comedy. I will say it made me laugh and laugh. I want to he her friend. Some of her conversations were like a Tru Stories conversation.
She freely used the big F word. I have been known to drop it once in a great while myself. Used correctly, it is a powerful word. This book is many conversations that Jenny has in her head. I would love to read the entire book out loud to a group of people. That way, I can laugh and not look like a crazy lady laughing alone in my shop. That can be a bit awkward. With our family history someone could call to have me picked up.
If you need to laugh, really hard laugh, pick this book up. Not you Arizona. I'm mailing you mine. Authors that can make me laugh out loud, best ever!!! Just not Oscar worthy.
