Hubby's TV viewing tends toward OLD shows. Rarely does he watch regular TV. He likes cowboy movies and war movies. He will watch anything old. The other day I saw him set the DVR to record Gunsmoke. Seriously! There is not an episode he has not watched. I did not comment. He would launch into his, my shows are junk, his shows are classics. Classic just means old 95% of the time.
The Kid spent the night over the week-end. Hubby can talk him into watching old shows with him. The Kid does it because he can stay up later by doing it. Hubby said, I have some good shows recorded. (No, he doesn't.) I recorded a new Andy Griffith the other day. I looked at him, there are not new shows. There are not any shows you have not watched hundreds of times. He said, it would be new to The Kid.
This is why we cannot watch TV together.
