Two days until Christmas. I think I am done shopping. I always have a hard time stopping!! I love to buy presents. Things are going well here. That has added to my Christmas excitement. My son is happy. He is doing well. He is making some positive changes. He is taking advice from his Case Manager. He is even keeping a journal. I bought him extra gifts. Spoiling him more than I should. Normally, he is down at Christmas. I have plans for a great day. I know he is going to love his gifts. It has been a good week.
Monday Tru Stories and her brother went shopping. That is something special. Joel being kind to his sister is a very good thing. That makes me so happy. Don't get me wrong, he is not healed. He is improved. More stable than he has been in a long time. I believe all the prayers and positive thoughts put out in the Universe helped.
I am also looking forward to the excitement of my grandchildren. I bought them too much. That is nothing new. I am excited about Christmas Eve at Tru Stories' home. I am looking forward to relaxing during the day on Christmas. I really enjoy Christmas Dinner. I like to get out my china. I light candles. It is nice having our little family all together around the table.
For the record, I am not dreaming of a white Christmas. Having snow is not a deal breaker to me. I enjoy nice weather on Christmas. I could handle it being warm enough for a little walk. I could go all winter without snow. Sorry children! It is nice driving to work without the stress of bad weather.
I need to go see if I have enough stocking stuffers. I am sure I have bought more than can fit in all the stockings. I usually do! My kids love the stockings. I try to find unique things. Stockings are fun and stress me at the same time.
I hope all of you are enjoying your Christmas preparations. Thanks again for all the prayers and support.
