Making Laundry Detergent

Tonight The kids and I made laundry detergent.  Very educational, like cooking.  There was measuring, cooking, and stirring.    Excitement!  My grand children are very supportive of my making products.

We had some issues with taking turns.  Note how adorable Tink is with her St. Patrick's Day headband.

The Kid got to stir while the soap was melting on the stove.  While he did that the girls took turns stirring our other mixture.  Everything went fairly well......
until.....
I turned my back on the girls...
Guess who had to taste the soap???
Yep...you know it...

Lesson Learned.  By me.

I don't want to call you a liar, but...that second picture? The facial expressions on all three grandchildren? Those do not scream excitement.

Now, Coco in nothing but a cami and underwear? THAT is the recipe for something grand. Hilarious.

I've carefully explained to the children to grin and bear their Grammy's latest projects...

Cami and panties- no surprise
Eating soap- also not shocking

But.. look at her long hair...

to be continued.

Mrs. These children could be jumping up and down with excitement......until I get out the camera. They love to appear tortured in my pictures.
Maybe Coco was a bit ill from eating the mixture.
Maybe that later caused her to do something crazy....
To be continued by TS......

Ok, now you've got my interest. What did Coco do? Your grandchildren are great! Love the pictures and the tortured looks. They look like your little minions being forced to make soap. Oh, and by the way, I've got a headband just like Tinks' Got mine at the dollar store and will be wearing it all day tomorrow an Sunday. Just in case Tink wanted to know, which I know she doesn't.
