This Is Why I Am In A Bookclub

Today I started reading The Page Turner's April book.  It is Hunger Games.  The surprising thing is only one person in the book club had read it.  Here is a book the many, many people have read.  I think The Page Turners turned our noses at such a mainstream read.  The Kid read the series a few weeks ago.  I considered reading it with him.  My daughter read it.  She declared it was not a book I would enjoy.
I have read almost 100 pages.  The subject is upsetting to me.  It is an easy read.  I know I will get through it quickly.  It should make for a good book club discussion.  I am looking forward to it.
For now, I will try to push through so I have the book completed by Wednesday night.  I might surprise myself and even enjoy this book!
