Fifty Years

When I was four years old I was a flower girl in my brother's wedding.  My brother graduated from high school on a Friday, I was born on the Sunday after.  I always looked up to my big brother.  My sister-in-law was part of my family long before I came along.
Last night we celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary.  It is an accomplishment to be proud of.  They both owned their own businesses and are retired now.  They have two boys and a girl and three grandsons.  They can sit back and call their lives a success.  We had a family dinner to celebrate.

Below is another brother.  He and his wife will celebrate 50 years in July.  They are madly in love with each other.  They still like to hold hands.  They face major health issues.  Just keep going.  Call each other Hon.  It is a relationship to envy.
This is my brother that is only three years older than I am.  We were raised together.  My three older brothers were raised and then along came two more.  One brother has passed.  They have quite a few years under their belts too.
Here are the family newlyweds.  Married since July.  This is Kate's family.  Kate is doing well.  She has faced many challenges.  Her arm muscles are HUGE.  She likes to show them off.  She was easily able to put food on her fork and eat.  Huge improvements since the last time I saw her.  She is special.
Below are Kate's brothers and two of her nephews.  That is Hubby's hands in the picture.  He does not like to have his picture taken.

It was a great evening.  Good company.  Amazing food.  Lots to be thankful for even after Thanksgiving.

I wouldn't mind 50 years with Coach... well, maybe check back with me in 30 years... but I think probably, yes.

And if we do... I'd for sure want to be as cute as your brother J and his wife S. They are adorable.
