Looking Towards a Great 2013

Here are some of my goals for 2013:

In the Summer of 2013 I would like to retire from my current job.  Don't get me wrong, I will have to find somewhere else to work.  I just want to find something closer to home.  The long days are killing me.  Seriously, killing me.

I would like to take a couple of months off and enjoy the summer.  I want to spend some quality summer time with my grand kids.

I want to work on getting healthy.  Taking walks.  Using my free time to cook healthy food.   Maybe even go back to yoga.

If I need to continue working (and I do), I would like to find something I enjoy.

Work on my flowerbeds.

Have a Garage Sale.  Which means, clean out closets and basement.

Ride my bike regularly.  I really enjoy riding.  Never make enough time.

Take a long walk along the IL/MI canal.  Hubby and I have done a few walks with the kids.  I want to do a longer walk.

Take a train ride to Chicago.  I have not ridden a train since Uncle was in preschool.

Find a way to help improve the plight of the mentally ill in Illinois.

Find a Church I enjoy.

Find more joy in life.

That feels like a good start.  Just thinking about it makes me feel more positive.

Happy (early) New Year, Page Turner! If you organize that long walk along the canal keep me posted. Morris to Seneca maybe with a group meeting us at a bar for post walk beverages?

Morris to Seneca is the trip I want to take. Sounds like we have a goal. You missed our walk to Odell. At least this walk will be in the shade.

I like that list.
Biking the canal is also supposed to be fun.
The kids will be thrilled to have you in Dwight every day!
