One Tuesday Morning by Karen Kingsbury

The other Grandma shared a book with me.  I devoured it.  Read instead of doing work in my house on Monday.  Stayed up too late reading.  I could not put the book down.  This is a fictional story involving 9/11.  It is about two men that looked alike.  They met briefly while one was going up to save people and the other was on his way down to safety.  One was a fireman.  One was a businessman.  One was devoted to his family.  One was devoted to his career.  Besides looking alike the two men had nothing in common.
This is the story of two families.  In each family one of the spouses was a devote Christian.  The other spouse was not a believer.  The story combines the tragedy of 9/11 with the struggle with Faith.  It was a good story.  There were parts that ripped my heart out.
There is a twist to the story to make it interesting.  I enjoyed the read.  Different than what I normally read.  That is always a good thing.  I give it a strong 3.  I still enjoy reading "real" books more than electronic books.  Sigh!  But, I also enjoy not having so many books laying around.  Who am I kidding.  I still have too many books.  Just not as many as before Kindle.
