I'll Jump

The Mrs. said that all the cool bloggers are jumping on the thankful wagon.  Guess I will give it a try.

Day 1

I am thankful for Coco.  We had a one on one Grammy night.  She loves deeply.  Watching her spend time with her Uncle is heartwarming.  She can be a handful.  Her emotions are always LARGE.  That means when you get to be the recipient of her joy it is wonderful.  Love that dramatic girl with all my heart.

Day 2

I am thankful for The Kid.  Today we went to watch his team at the speech contest.  His group took a first.  It is amazing to watch the young man he is turning into.  His parents made a very difficult decision last year.  Watching his confidence soar has been a wonderful journey.  He speaks with confidence.  He works very hard.  He wants to do well.  The only problem I have is his busy life keeps him away from me.  No more Friday nights sitting side by side reading.  I miss him but love seeing how happy he is.  He is the other slice of drama in the Tru Story family.  I am thankful I shared so many years of special times with him.
