I Should Have Slept More

Obviously, I had a hectic week-end. I am not a stay busy person. I love down time. Because I have long days during the week, I like to rest on the week-end. Tonight I stayed with my friend. This is where I come to rest. When the commute gets to be too much, I stay in town with my friend. I have my own space. The finished basement to myself. It is dark, quiet, big screen TV. Just what I need. If I want to go to bed early, I just do it. We are the kind of friends that get each other. No explanation necessary. So here I am tonight, getting some rest. My plan is to go to bed early with a book. I am close to finishing a book. I need to get it done and start my book club read.
I am going to try to blog for 7 days straight. Some might be short, but I will post. I have 3-4 baseball games to attend this week. Not sure I will get blog material from that. I will do my best.
What does the picture mean? Not a thing. It is my Coco at Halloween. I loved this costume. I love anything that puts paws on babies. I also love hats that have ears and whiskers. Babies dressed like animals, too cute. Unfortunately, I am up against Tru Stories on this one. She does not share my passion for ears on babies hats. She was in a weakened state at Halloween so I got away with the costume. I call it a, Love Bug. She is too. Months down the road, still loving the costume. Hope it puts a smile on your face too.
