I hope you are still reading Eat, Pray, Love and maybe loving it by now. I had to get out my book to see what Chapter 49 was about. Old Lady did too. I can remember when I was a child going through Chapter 49. Realized so much is out of my control. The first time I read Eat, Pray, Love; I was sucked in by Chapter 2. When she talked about laying on the bathroom floor crying. I totally got it. There was a time the bathroom was my safe place. I loved the cold of the bathroom floor. I was immediately hooked on the book.
The second time I read the book it felt like I was along on her ride. To me the book is an exploration. I just bought into it. I feel like so much of life we just go along for the ride. Do not live in the moment enough. EPL reminded me to remember to experience life along the way. If the mala bracelets do nothing else, I hope they remind me to experience life more.
Let me know when you finish the book. I hope you make plans to go to the movie too. Keep us posted.
