Glass is Half Full

If you have a weak stomach or you are Tru Stories, do not read further. What you are about to
see and hear is a true story. This is how many people spend their days. Last chance to stop........... I work for a LARGE company. The building I work in holds a couple of thousand people. It is three floors. My department is in one large room on the first floor. There are over 90 people in my department. That is more people than my graduating class in high school. We sit in cubicles. They are all grey. There are row after row of cubicles. I work in the last row, my desk is the last desk in the row. That is good news. I am not completed surrounded with people. There is a wall and a refrigerator across from me. We work in teams. Not Go, Fight, Win teams. Just work teams. We refer to the few desks around us as pods. They really are not what the company considers pods. We just like the term. The three people that sit around me are guys. Almost babies. Sometimes I make the guy that sits right next to me be my BFF. That means he has to talk hair and fashion with me. He does not mind doing it as much as he should.
Our jobs are monotonous. We like to play do you remember the exact minute you messed up in your life and ended up here? We do. There are some positives to my job. Besides the obvious, the money is not bad. Here are some things that help me make it through the day.

1. The boys make me laugh. Spit my drinks out of my mouth laugh.

2. I can watch any terrible reality TV show and know that when I go to work in the morning and say, hey did anyone watch the show Swamp and not even finish the title and at least one, probably two of the boys will have watched it.

3. They all speak sarcasm, fluently.

4. The Old Lady gets me. And I get her.

5. The Page Turners work there.

6. If I do not want to discuss reality TV, I can discuss regular TV. They love TV. They also love to talk current events.

7. If I want to know what the weather is going to be (no windows where I sit), there is an expert on my team that took 3 weather classes in college. People that cannot see windows love to talk about weather.

8. A singer sits next to me. We love it when he sings us songs from Little Mermaid. Our favorite is, Kiss The Girl.

9. If I do not know how to do something electronic with my Ipod or Computer, one of the boys do. Young people understand electronics. They will take the time to explain to old people how to use electronics. They will also laugh at old people for not knowing stuff.

10. They love to talk about phones. They like to buy phones. They like to talk about phone plans.

Those are just a few of things that get me through my day. These things help make my daily glass half full.

I miss not being on that list.
I miss CTLU. It's not as fun as you think always being the funniest person, you need someone to bounce off of, you know?

We are only as funny as the people that get us. If noone laughs, we are not funny.

In my head you are surrounded by 3 Hot men. Are they hiring?

That's funny! Right they should be GQ models, instead they work with me.

I don't care how Hot they may think they are. Just reading this post gave me The Shakes thinking about being in that cubicle.
Walking out... Best Day Ever.
