The Other Family

This was a quick read. A book that I bought on clearance. I am not going to rate it. It is just a story. Something to read to fill this reading goal. I enjoyed it. It was not life-changing. I will not be telling people they have to read this. When it is time to clean out books, I will be able to get rid of this book. That speaks volumes. But it does go towards my count. Here is a quick recap.
Richie Rossiter a once famous pianist, dies unexpectedly. Chrissie knows that she must now tell their daughters the truth that she and their father had never married. Richie was still married to his first wife. They had a son together who was now an adult. The story is about the two families that were left behind from death and desertion. How the families confront their losses and each other.
It is a story of modern family life from one of our most beloved authors of domestic fiction.
The story was easy to read before work, on my lunch. Just a relaxing read.

The Count is: 23
