Podcasts

I have been hearing this term Podcast for awhile. Several people have told me I should download podcasts on my ipod to listen to at work. All of that is not a foreign language to me. I know what it means. It is just not easy for me to down. I love my ipod. I love to listen to it while I work. I am not good at downloading. I am not a complete idiot about electronics. Obviously, I love my computer. The ipod thing, it is hard for me.
The other night I was at a family dinner. Someone asked me if I listen to This American Life on my ipod. I said no, but I have heard about it. I just am not great at the downloads. She said we have a folder of podcasts. I was able to hand my ipod off to someone that does understand electronics. In a few minutes he put hours of this Public Radio show on my ipod. The results, today at work I listened to hours of interesting radio on my ipod. I accomplished tons of work. I was able to become lost in my ipod world. Work was not as painful as usual. I am addicted. Unfortunately, I only have a couple of hours left on my ipod to listen tomorrow. The good news, someone told me about a program I can listen to on the computer at work. Things could be taking an upward swing. If I can do my mindless job and listen to something interesting, it will be great!!!!
This American Life is interesting. Broad range of subjects. Things to make me think. Love it. Almost as good as reading a book. Very happy Monday.
