Over two years ago hubby and I were at the bowling alley during a Cub's play-off game. We were not there specifically for the game. We were there for a family dinner and decided to watch the game. It was a big Cub celebration. Things were being given away and raffle tickets were sold. Hubby bought a few raffle tickets. He won and got to pick a beautiful jersey, value of a couple hundred dollars. What is the point of this walk down memory lane. Fast forward to today.
I am at work discussing that I cannot find anything awesome to give my son-in-law for Christmas. I said, he would love to have that jersey Hubby won a couple of years ago. That would be a great gift. The Doctor says, "The Santos jersey?" Now I have no idea what the jersey is. I did at the time and have long since forgotten what it was. I just know there is a beautiful, expensive Cub's jersey being wasted just hanging in the closet.
Here is what is interesting about this story. Over 2 years ago I told the story at work that my White Sox fan Hubby won a Cub jersey. The Doctor was able to remember this story, because it was related to his beloved Cubs. Amazing! His wife could have asked him to pick something up at the store and he would not remember. A random person wins a Santos jersey and it sticks in his mind.
It scares me to work with all these men and get an insight into how they think!

I am gonna guess, Dad's answer was no... but the suspense will be killing me all week. Luckily, your son-in-law usually doesn't check your blog about books. Weird, cuz he loves to read.
