Sometimes I look at little children and wonder what they will be when they grow up. Our Tink is a tough one. She has a wild imagination. She is cute as can be. She can be super nice when she wants to. She can also be to quote Tru Stories: Mean like a pony.
Today I think I have more of an insight into her future.
Tink spent the night. It was a wonderful Tink evening. She was so loving. I did not have to wub her one time. She wanted to read books. When it snowed she kept running and jumping in my arms delighted. She said, "It's Kritmas time." Her Popop took her outside to see the sun. They opened their mouths and caught snow on their tongues. When she came inside she showed me all the sparkles on her hair and blanket. She told me it was fairy dust. I love that. She really believes it.
That is my sweet Fairy Tink. Now we will talk reality. The child is a thief. She cannot leave my house without stealing something. Most of the time it is something minor. A tiny little toy. A matchbox car. She likes to be able to slip it in her bag. Today she said she was going to take home the Blueberry Muffin and Lemon Meringue little toys she plays with while she is here. I said no you have to leave those here. I saw her quietly wrapping them in her blanket. I said Tink you are not taking those home. Get them out of your blanket.
Later we are getting ready for her to go home. She was next to her suitcase unzipping her jammies. I said Tink just wear those home. A few minutes later I noticed she was in the bedroom. I was changing Coco and Tink walked towards me. I heard the toys clinking in the foot of her jammies. The little thief put those little toys down in her jammies to take home.
I said, "Tink what did you do? Nofing. What's in your jammies? I don't know. Did you put those toys in there." Now she stares at me like she cannot hear me. Unfortunately, I burst out laughing and she took the toys home.
Our free spirit little Tink will probably be a gypsy.
She loves wearing loose fitting skirts. (Easy to put a rib eye under at the store.)
She has that free spirit hair.
She can give the evil eye.
She believes in magic. (She can probably convince unconvincing targets she knows magic.)
Watch for Tink and her gang of Gypsies in a store near you.
