A Single Man

I read our book for the month of December. A Single Man by Christopher Isherwood. I do not get it. At all. Do not know what I'm missing. Anxious to have the book explained to me. For some reason I did not engage in one page of this book! Maybe I cannot clear my mind and get into a book right now. So much Christmas on my mind!
