My Dear Millhouse

Today Millhouse put a comment on my blog. For those of you do not comment, let me explain. After you read the blog, you can write comments about what you just read. Words of encouragement, a little quip, or whatever comes to your mind. I digress. The point is, Millhouse mentioned that my goal is still doable. She commented on a book I should read by one of our favorite authors, David Sedaris. He really makes us laugh. He is bitter and sarcastic. Hysterical! Well I had already listened to the book on audio that she mentioned. So I started looking on my blog to try and find the entry about the book. Then I started comparing books I talked about on my blog to what I listed in my journal.
Here is the big news. There were several books in my blog that I did not put in my journal. What does this mean? People it means game on. The total number of books I have read (that I know of) is: 91.
I am really over making my goal this year. I have things to do. Enjoying Christmas is taking all my strength. I still have to shop. I am crocheting. I am tired.
Unfortunately, it is out of my hands. Millhouse has some type of grudge against an author that wrote about reading 52 books in a year. According to Millhouse this lady was arrogant. She did not even have a child. That makes 52 books in a year a walk in the park. So Millhouse has put her hopes on me to make some stranger that wrote a book look bad. Will the lady know it? No she will not. But, there was a time Millhouse was my soul sister from a different generation. So, I owe it to her to make this stranger that I do not know and never will know, look bad.

PEOPLE THE COUNT IS: 9

snippet of a rev from Amazon:
'So the point of this book, aside from self-absorbed ramblings that would be barely interesting even if I knew Sara Nelson and her family personally, is exactly what?'
