Dear Old Lady

This week at work was very boring without you. It was like vanilla ice cream everyday. It was like unsalted popcorn. White chocolate. Warm pop. Cake without frosting. A rainbow in black and white.
We laughed less. There was no hugging. We did not talk about current events. There were no lame animal jokes. I saw Ashley working. Tim stopped talking. George stayed at his desk. (Just kidding, he didn't.) I had to eat lunch at my desk and read a book. Wait, I do that all the time.
Most importantly, The Man From The Tower called. He wanted to know if it was true the reason our company came to a stand still was because you took 5 days off without a doctor making you.
