“Do I not destroy my enemies when I make them my friends?” Abraham Lincoln

TO SKINNY:

I wish I could make it tomorrow wish you well and give you a hug.  On the flip side of that, I am glad I cannot get away to see you off.  Too sad.  Too sad.  We lived some good life in CSU.  If I had to look at Old Lady's face tomorrow, I would lose it.  Tough when the kids grow up and move on.

The Abe Lincoln quote at the top describes how we started out.  We butted heads a few times.  Happy to call you my friend now!  Once I got through your ridiculous attitude, I discovered a young man that gets life.  You are a wonderful husband, a wonderful Dad.  Your heart is in the right place.  You have a maturity that goes beyond your age.  I pray you take what you have learned in CSU and use it to make yourself an outstanding leader in AZ.  You know what you need to do.

Old Lady and I will be out to visit our large group of AZ friends in the summer.  Count on it.  I will begin shopping for cheap fares immediately.  Safe travels and have a great time!!

“Congratulations!
Today is your day.
You're off to Great Places!
You're off and away!”
Dr. Seuss, Oh, the Places You'll Go!

Next week is going to be rough without my partner in crime/bday twin. I will keep an eye on OL next week, we already have a few things planned to entertain ourselves. I got so caught up in all the excitement part of the move that the sad part of this all hasn't hit me until this week really. Good Luck Skinny! :)
