You know you've read a good book when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend. ~Paul Sweeney
What books comes to mind when you read that quote? Today the book, Reliable Wife came to my mind. That was a great book I read last year. Still Alice by Lisa Genova was another good one. The Buddha in the Attic by Julie Otsuka.
What book comes to your mind when you read that quote?

I felt that way about The Help. I just finished the Hunger Games series and I was also sad when I finished the third book. Isn't it strange how you fly through a good book because you can't get enough of it, but then you finish it so quickly that you're mad at yourself for not savoring every word?
The Art of Racing in the Rain -- I really liked this one!! I felt the same way about the Hunger Games, Mrs., although I've only finished the first one so far.
Mrs. - I get so angry at myself for flying through great books. I think savor is the perfect word for reading a great book. I wish I could force myself to slowly absorb a great read. No discipline.
I loved The Help too.
MC - Really did not love The Art of Racing in The Rain.
