Cleaning House

You might have heard I am retiring early from my job.  I think the count down is 32 more days of work.  Less counting a couple of days off.  It is still too many.  The drive all of a sudden seems twice as long.  Anyways, I have already started doing some packing up, recycling, getting ready to leave my job.  Today I was going through some personal pictures I have on my computer.  Deleted what I already have at home.  There were a few I did not have at home.  These are pictures I cannot live without.  Get ready for some adorable cuteness.
This is classic Tink.  Tru Stories heard the door but did not realize it was Tink leaving.  She was marching across the yard going to her cousins house.  Who knows how far the girl would have gone if TS had not looked out the window.  Sounds like something Coco would do.
Look at this face.  Chubby little Tink.  I can hardly even see my Tink in this picture.  She has changed so much. It is one of my all time favorite Tink pictures.  Any picture on the beach is always going to be adorable.
This is my Number 1, ALL TIME FAVORITE picture of Tink.  Her hairs was full of curls.  Those blue eyes, go to my heart.  That little nose.  Still had some chubby cheeks.  Love, love.  It was the background on my computer for a long time.  Right now I still have her Snow Princess picture on my computer.
How did our Tiny Tink turn into a big girl so fast?  Right now I am loving Tink's freckles so much.  They are adorable.  They do not scream, I HAVE FRECKLES.  Discretely perfect.
Tru Stories does this make you want to cry?  You sure make some beautiful babies.  Well maybe Coach's DNA helped a little.

Thursday Night

On my way home from work yesterday, I picked up Tink.  She was craving some alone time with Grammy.  We stopped at the grocery store.  Tink had a shopping list.  She is very specific.  She really needed a Princess Pez dispenser.  She was sweet enough to pick one for her sister too.  She also had numerous food items.  We came home had supper.  At least what Tink considers supper.  Last night it was a lunchable.  No fruit.
From the time Tink walked in our door at 6:00ish, to the time she left at 9:00ish, she never stopped talking.  I wish I could remember what she talked about, it just never stopped.  She talks quite a bit about her dog, Desmond.  She loves her dog.  She will talk about how he bit her in the mouth and had to come to Grammy's.  But, she still wants him back.  Tink is craving a dog.  She hugs her dog.  She tries to train him.  She walks him.  She kisses him.  It is amazing to see that she remembers being bitten and still loves dogs.  Even the dog that did it.
After she ate her "dinner" she went out to sit on the front patio with her Popop.  They listen to birds.  Last night they were watching little kittens across the street.  I was inside.  I could hear her talking, and talking.  She never stopped.  It was so sweet.
We took a walk to go visit my brother's little dogs.  She loves them too.  They are scared of her.  She talked the entire walk.  She did not talk at my brother's.  She whispered to me.  When we left, more talking.
We had a delightful evening with our Tink.  I wish we could keep her this age.  It looks good on her.  Tru Stories, I had she talked herself out.  We need a very quiet Tink today.  Hoping she does not excel at her screening.  Unfortunately, I think she will do very well.  She is a smart one.  Good luck today, or bad luck today.  I am hoping for the best.

My Tink

Last night my Tink was sitting on my lap.  She was lovingly stroking my hair.  She said, "Your hair is black."  I said, "Yes it is."  Tink said, "Black like my dog Desmond's hair."  At this point the happiness bubble floating over my head started dropping.  Tink said, "Your hair is very soft.  Just like my dog Desmond's."
I have brown eyes like Dora.  My hair reminds her of her dog's.  This is what it is like to be loved by Tink.
