Thursday Night

On my way home from work yesterday, I picked up Tink.  She was craving some alone time with Grammy.  We stopped at the grocery store.  Tink had a shopping list.  She is very specific.  She really needed a Princess Pez dispenser.  She was sweet enough to pick one for her sister too.  She also had numerous food items.  We came home had supper.  At least what Tink considers supper.  Last night it was a lunchable.  No fruit.
From the time Tink walked in our door at 6:00ish, to the time she left at 9:00ish, she never stopped talking.  I wish I could remember what she talked about, it just never stopped.  She talks quite a bit about her dog, Desmond.  She loves her dog.  She will talk about how he bit her in the mouth and had to come to Grammy's.  But, she still wants him back.  Tink is craving a dog.  She hugs her dog.  She tries to train him.  She walks him.  She kisses him.  It is amazing to see that she remembers being bitten and still loves dogs.  Even the dog that did it.
After she ate her "dinner" she went out to sit on the front patio with her Popop.  They listen to birds.  Last night they were watching little kittens across the street.  I was inside.  I could hear her talking, and talking.  She never stopped.  It was so sweet.
We took a walk to go visit my brother's little dogs.  She loves them too.  They are scared of her.  She talked the entire walk.  She did not talk at my brother's.  She whispered to me.  When we left, more talking.
We had a delightful evening with our Tink.  I wish we could keep her this age.  It looks good on her.  Tru Stories, I had she talked herself out.  We need a very quiet Tink today.  Hoping she does not excel at her screening.  Unfortunately, I think she will do very well.  She is a smart one.  Good luck today, or bad luck today.  I am hoping for the best.
