Heaven Is Here by Stephanie Nielson

I have been following the blog, NieNie Dialogues for quite a while.  It is probably one of the most famous blogs out there.  It is written by Stephanie Nielson.  She started it to keep connected to her family when she was living far away.  The blog changed when Stephanie Nielsen and her husband were in a horrific plane accident.  She was burned over 80% of her body.  The Old Lady bought me the book Stephanie wrote about surviving the accident, Heaven Is Here.
I was not sure I would enjoy the book because I already read the blog.  I was completely wrong.  The book is such an inspiration.  The strange thing is I kept thinking to myself how blessed Stephanie is.  She was burned severely, almost died, is still recovering and she is blessed.  She is madly in love with her husband and he with her.  She has a huge family that helped her and Christian after the accident.  Her relationship with her siblings is amazing.
The book is a love story.  Not just the love between Stephanie and Christian.  It is the love in their families.  The love for their children.  Most importantly, their relationship and love of Christ.  It is a moving story.  It is easy to read.  It made me count my blessings and my short falls.  There is a line of people waiting to read it after me.
I rate the book a 4.

A wonderfully brave account of life changed forever in an instant. An introduction to the Mormon faith, and the trials of testing individual faith. Why do bad things happen? Human suffering and pain in this life on earth make us (Christians) review, and eventually grow stronger in our faith. A heartbreaking look at children's reaction to a parent who had been burned and disfigured, but how they had grown to accept and love each other again.
