Big Oops

The other night when I went to listen to the author speak, I don't think I mentioned it was at the library.  The library has a big meeting room.  If you know me, you know I do not spend time at the library.  I will list a few of my reasons:  I have germ issues.  I do not like to read a book that many, many people already touched.  I like the feel of a new book.  If I buy a book, I like to keep it.  I know, I have issues!  Now I read more Kindle books than physical books.  Helps me not have stacks of books everywhere. 
Picture this.  I am standing in line waiting to buy a book and pick my free book.  There was a large group crowded near the author's table.  Someone says to me, "the library carries all her books.  You don't have to buy them."  I say, "I'm not a library kind of person."  The person next to me hears my statement, turns around...........it was the Director of the Library.  She said, "really?  How is someone not a library kind of person."  Awkward!!!  I say, "I like to own my own books."  Very uncomfortable.  I did not get into my germ thing.  The entire world does not need to know about it.  Luckily and sadly, not that many people read this blog.
If you read my blog and shop at the candy store, doesn't it feel good knowing I have germ issues?  You know I go out of my way to keep everything as germ free as possible.  You are welcome.
