Here we are another day after the dance posting. I am not going to lie, I woke up with a bit of a headache. Who knew they put vodka in the lemonade slush? Maybe I knew. It was good stuff. What I learned this morning was I did not take enough pictures. I am sorry about that. There were so many beautiful gowns. Lots of sequins. Ladies seemed to really enjoy dressing up. Men were a bit more limited. The highlight of the evening was the Relay Team and their performance. This year they did dances from movies. The Mrs. started out the performance with her take on Sound of Music. I did not get a good picture. Trust me, she looked so sweet. Perfect for the part. There will be video floating around blog world soon. I just wanted to get some pictures out as soon as I could.
The disappointment of the evening is not enough people attend this event. I do not get it. It is fun to dress up. It is entertaining. I enjoy sitting and watching how people dress. Obviously, the entertainment is unique. When all is said and done, the team has a great time and raises money for Relay For Life. They use the phrase, "Hating On Cancer." They do a great job of it. Here are a few pictures. More to follow.
Hubby & I tried to do interviews on the Red Carpet when people arrived. Not sure it worked! Tru Stories working her shift behind the bar. Her mask came from New Orleans.
Coach with a serious pose.
My niece with her painted on mask. Trying to work around having glasses.
Tru Stories with her beautiful friend.
Tru Stories with her cousin. She glowed during the dance.
A side view of Sweetbreads beautiful mermaid dress.
Who do you think this is? A unique take on Hollywood Masquerade. That's our Munchkin.
The parents of the Relay for Life team.
Tru Stories and Hubby.
Munchkin and her spotlight dance. No spandex this year.
